Ohio & Cedar Point Trip
Left home at 8:15 AM on June 7, 2002.
Drove to Charleston, WV to pickup Granddaddy.
Had Lunch in Charleston.
Drove to Sugar Grove, OH to Grandpa's House.
Spent the night at Grandpa's.
On Saturday, went with Mom & Dad, and Granddaddy to Columbus, OH, to Trinity Lutheran Seminary for a worship service at 10:00 AM.
Goofed around at TLS for a while, then Mom got her Master's Degree from Trinity Lutheran Seminary at 3:00 PM.
Went to northern Columbus to Uncle David & Aunt Mary Kay's house for dinner and a party.
Spent Saturday night at Grandpa's.
On Sunday, went to church with Grandpa at 8:15 AM.
After church, I left from Grandpa's and drove to Sandusky, OH to Cedar Point.
I got to Cedar Point at 2:05 PM and within 10 minutes of arriving, I was on the Raptor roller coaster!
Spent all afternoon at Cedar Point riding roller coasters.
Drove to Huron, OH and spent Sunday night at Mef & Dick's house.
On Monday, I went back to Cedar Point and spent all day there.
There were many more people there on Monday, so I spent a lot of time standing in line.
Spent Monday night at Mef & Dick's house.
I left their house on Tuesday morning at 8:15 AM.
I went east on I-80 (Ohio Turnpike).
Then east on I-76 (Pennslyvania Turnpike).
East on I-70.
South on I-81 back home.
It took about 8 hours to drive home.
That's the longest drive I have done by myself.
I was tired, but the cruise control really helped me.
